Yes — and we use them strategically. Before the event, we work with you to build a custom playlist and identify your must-plays and do-not-plays. On the night, Nathan reads the room and layers in requests that fit the energy and keep the dance floor full. A request that kills the momentum doesn’t help anyone — so we use judgment, not just a queue.
For peak season (May through October) we recommend booking 9-12 months out. Destination dates at Aspen, Telluride, and Crested Butte often fill 12-18 months in advance. Check availability early -- reaching out never locks you in.
Nathan will be at your wedding. Firefly Entertainment is not an agency. When you hire Firefly, you are hiring Nathan specifically -- the person you consulted with, planned with, and who knows every detail of your event. No substitutions.
Nathan handles all introductions and announcements -- grand entrance, first dance, parent dances, dinner service, cake cutting, bouquet toss, and send-off. He also coordinates with your photographer, caterer, and planner to keep the timeline running smoothly.
Yes. Ceremony audio is included in both DJ packages. Nathan sets up a separate sound system for your ceremony -- wireless microphones for the officiant, processional and recessional music, and any additional audio you need.
Nathan brings redundant equipment to every event -- backup speakers, amplifiers, and cables. In 25+ years of performing, equipment failure has never stopped a show. We plan for contingencies before the event.
Everything. Nathan's background spans college radio, underground dance music, and hundreds of weddings. He is equally comfortable with Top 40, country, hip-hop, oldies, classic rock, EDM, Latin, and everything in between. The playlist is built around you.
We have an open-air photo booth that prints instant 2x6 photo strips and 4x6 prints. The open-air design fits any venue, accommodates large groups, and creates a fun social environment. Kyann attends the booth throughout the event.
Yes. Every package includes a custom print template -- your names, wedding date, and design elements. Choose from our Wedding Designs (14 layouts) or Holiday designs. View all options on our Create Your Event page.
Yes, props are included in all photo booth packages. We bring a curated selection of fun, wedding-appropriate props. You are also welcome to add your own.
Yes. All packages include digital sharing. A flash drive with all photos is available as an add-on for $20 -- we recommend it for a full high-resolution archive of the night.

Travel within 100 miles of Grand Junction is free. Beyond that, we charge $1 per mile round trip. Events requiring overnight stays (typically beyond 95 miles) may require lodging reimbursement at cost. We regularly serve Aspen, Telluride, Crested Butte, Glenwood Springs, Carbondale, Montrose, and Moab, Utah.
A deposit is required to hold your date. Full payment details are outlined in your contract. Contact us when building your quote for specifics.
Yes. Firefly Entertainment carries professional liability insurance. Many venues require this documentation -- we can provide a certificate of insurance upon request when finalizing your venue contract.
