Privacy Policy
Effective September 26, 2026
This policy explains what information Firefly Entertainment LLC (“Firefly,” “we,” “us”) collects through fireflyentertainmentgj.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We’re a small, family-run DJ, MC and photo booth company in Grand Junction, Colorado, and we keep this as plain as we can.
Information you give us
When you ask about a date or request a quote, you give us details such as your name, email address, phone number, event date, venue or location, event type, guest count, and anything you choose to tell us about your event. Our inquiry forms are provided by HoneyBook, the client-management system we use to answer inquiries, send proposals and contracts, and take payments. Payment details are handled by HoneyBook and its payment processors; we don’t store card numbers.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours uses cookies and similar technologies, managed through Google Tag Manager, to understand how the site is used and to measure and improve our advertising:
- Google Analytics — pages viewed, time on site, device and browser type, approximate location, and how you arrived (for example, a search, an ad, or a social link).
- Google Ads — measures whether our ads lead to inquiries and may be used to show our ads to people who have visited our site (“remarketing”).
- Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) — records page visits so we can measure our Meta ads and, in the future, show ads to people who have visited our site or engaged with our pages.
- Microsoft Clarity — heatmaps and session recordings that show how visitors scroll and click, so we can fix confusing pages. It does not see what you type into our inquiry form, which is hosted by HoneyBook.
When you arrive from an ad or a tagged link, our site may add campaign details (such as the ad source and campaign name) and your anonymous Google Analytics ID to the page address so we can tell which marketing produced an inquiry.
When you send an inquiry
To measure which ads actually bring us inquiries, when a new inquiry arrives we send a lead notification to Meta that includes your email address, first and last name, phone number, and an internal customer ID in hashed (scrambled, one-way encoded) form through Meta’s Conversions API, and an anonymous lead event to Google Analytics. Google Ads counts an inquiry when our thank-you page loads. We never send your event date, venue, or any other event details to advertising platforms, and if you’ve asked us to opt you out of advertising matching, we don’t send this notification at all.
How we use information
- To answer your inquiry, check availability, prepare quotes, contracts and invoices, and plan and perform your event.
- To contact you by email, phone or text about your inquiry or booking.
- To understand how our website and advertising perform, and to improve them.
- To keep business, tax and legal records.
Text messages
If you give us your mobile number, we may text you about your inquiry or event. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts at any time, or HELP for help. We don’t sell or share your mobile number for anyone else’s marketing.
Who we share information with
We don’t sell your personal information for money. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business — including HoneyBook (inquiries, contracts, payments), Google (analytics and advertising), Meta (advertising), Microsoft (Clarity), Cloudflare (website hosting), Zapier (connecting our systems), and our email and text-messaging providers — and when the law requires it. Some of these providers, such as Google and Meta, use information from our site under their own terms and privacy policies.
Your choices
- Targeted advertising: email us to opt out and we’ll exclude your contact information from any advertising matching we do. You can also adjust ad settings at Google Ad Settings and in your Facebook and Instagram ad preferences.
- Analytics: Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics.
- Cookies: most browsers let you block or delete cookies; parts of the site may work differently if you do.
- Email and texts: use the unsubscribe link in our emails or reply STOP to texts.
Your requests
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to records we must keep, such as contracts and tax records). Email manager@fireflyentertainmentgj.com and we’ll respond within 45 days.
How long we keep information
We keep inquiry and client records for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet business, tax and legal requirements. Analytics and advertising data is kept according to each provider’s retention settings.
Children
Our website is meant for adults planning events. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Security
We use reputable, secured providers and limit access to your information to the people who need it. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect what you share with us.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and its effective date.
