Longhorns & Lace Wedding DJ & Photo Booth
A western event barn on the farmland outside Delta — a big room that seats 250, and one that actually sounds good with a full floor.
A big room that doesn’t fight the music
We worked our first wedding at Longhorns & Lace in July 2026, and it went onto our preferred list the same night. The honest reason is unglamorous: the room sounds good. A lot of big western barns turn into an echo chamber the moment the floor fills and the volume comes up — you end up pulling the music back to keep speeches intelligible, and the night never quite lifts. This room holds together. We did not have to fight it.
It seats 250, which puts it among the larger rooms on the Western Slope, and it has the things that actually matter at 10pm — a real bar, a catering kitchen, and a fireplace that gives the room a centre when people drift off the dance floor.
The on-site bridal suite is the part worth planning around. Four private bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, plus a kitchenette. That means the getting-ready hours happen where the wedding happens, instead of in a hotel across town. The single most common way a wedding timeline slips is travel between getting-ready and ceremony; this venue removes that problem rather than managing it.
It sits on farmland south of Grand Junction with mountains on the horizon, roughly between Grand Junction and Montrose, so it draws couples from both. Travel is quoted up front — you will never see a mileage line appear later.
What Firefly brings to Longhorns & Lace
Every Firefly wedding starts with the same foundation: Nathan on the mic and the music for your whole day, a separate PA and microphone for the ceremony so your vows carry across a room this size, wireless mics for toasts, and a dance floor paced to keep guests up and out of their seats. Kyann runs the open-air Photo Booth — instant prints, custom templates, props, and a backdrop.
Ceremony audio and dance-floor lighting are included, not an add-on — and an extra like uplighting is there when you want the space to do more. See how it prices out on our pricing page, or have a look at the vendors we hand our couples to.
